Nigeria international Akeem Latifu has joined Turkish Super Lig outfit Alanyaspor on a two-year contract.

Latifu joined the newly promoted side having cancelled his contract with Ukrainian’s FC Stal Dniprodzerzhynsk owing to lack of regular playing time.

“I thank the president, board of directors and technical crew for their effort in getting me,” Latifu told club website.

“I heard Alanyaspor is one of Turkey’s best clubs. Therefore I chose Alanya because it would be good for me.

“I will try to do my best and I’m looking forward to the new season.”
