Nicaragua’s president Daniel Ortega Tuesday picked his wife Rosario murillo as running mate ahead of the presidential election billed for November 2016 in his country.
According to the reports, the 70-Year old president and former Guerrilla leader who is well favored as he attempts to grab a third term mandate disclosed his desire to make his better half running mate as he picked his candidacy form registration.
Meanwhile, Ortega had earlier submitted that a joint candidacy of himself and wife Rosario will translate to gender equality for the Nicaraguan people.
