Actress Gloria Loring is the first woman who ever married Alan Thicke, who died today at the age of 69. The couple was married from 1970 until around 1984 and they had two children together. 1. Loring Posted About Thicke’s Death On Social Media

On both her Twitter and Facebook account, Loring remembered her ex-husband and spoke fondly of him in death. Loring wrote:

Dear Friends,
Thank you for your kindness concerning Alan Thicke’s passing. It is a shock. We were all just together for Thanksgiving. He was talented, funny and deeply devoted to his family. Rest In Peace, dear one.

2. Robin And Brennan Thicke Are Her Children

With Thicke, Loring had two children – sons Brennan and Robin. Across the globe, people know Robin Thicke as an award-winning music artist, whose songs like “Blurred Lines” have become world-renowned. Brennan is the older of the two and he has worked as a voice actor in the past.

Loring and Thicke divorced when son Robin was just seven years old.

3. Like Thicke, Loring Was Married Three Times

Alan Thicke may have been married three times in his life, but so was Loring. Thicke was Loring’s first husband, followed by Christopher Beaumont and then Rene Lagler. Beaumont and Loring were married for about five years and they did not have children together. As for Lagler, he was a production designer who knew Loring many years prior to their marrying in 1994.

Gloria Loring is a soap opera actress, who is most known for her role as Liz Chandler on Days of Our Lives, a part she played for about five years. Chandler’s character was a singer and ended up going to prison for murder, but she was released and later left the show.

Loring was also a singer, who performed at events such as the Academy Awards and on The Carol Burnett Show.

5. Alan Thicke Also Married Miss World 1990 Gina Tolleson

Gloria Loring and Gina Tolleson are both ex-wives of Thicke, who later found love with current wife Tanya Callau. Tolleson was Miss World 1990 and she had one son named Carter with Thicke. Carter was with his father when he suffered a heart attack today while playing hockey together, as reported by TMZ.
