White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer is about to hold his second full media briefing.

The briefing is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. Eastern Time. It can be watched live in the embedded YouTube player via The White House.

Quite a bit of news has developed since Spicer’s last press briefing, which took place on Monday afternoon. For one, President Donald Trump reportedly claimed in a meeting with Congressional leaders on Monday that between three and five million votes were illegally cast in the 2016 election, according to The Washington Post. There is absolutely no evidence that this happened. Trump made this same false statement on Twitter in November.

In addition to winning the Electoral College in a landslide, I won the popular vote if you deduct the millions of people who voted illegally

Many within Trump’s party have distanced themselves from this lie, including Mike Huckabee, a former Republican candidate for president who in general is quite supportive of President Trump.

“I have no evidence whatsoever, and I don’t know that anyone does, that there were that many illegal people who voted and frankly it doesn’t matter,” Huckabee said on Fox Business, according to The Hill. “He’s the president, and whether 20 million people voted, it doesn’t matter anymore. He’s the president, and I’m not sure what he brought it up.”

Spicer, who just yesterday promised to never lie during his daily press briefings, will likely be asked for an explanation of Trump’s comments.

Another topic of discussion will likely be the Keystone XL and Dakota Pipelines, as President Trump is expected to advance the construction of both of these pipelines via executive actions today, according to NBC News.
