Last weekend, I discovered some more attitudes I had that were not serving me. I knew I wanted to change them but I had lived that way almost all my life. Can a leopard change its spots?

More importantly, I had developed a clearer vision of the new me. I now had a fair knowledge of who I want to be. But how could I undo the programming of the last three decades in one day?
The first words I read yesterday were,”In the beginning God (prepared, formed, fashioned, and) created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and an empty waste, and darkness was upon the face of the very great deep.”
Then it hit me!
Out of nothing, He created the beautiful galaxies, exotic animals, awe-inspiring landforms, beautiful varieties of plants and of course, extraordinary me. Out of nothing!
And I am a god! I am made in His capacity to create the things I want to see around me. He made me powerful so I could create my destiny. Nna, the ting sweet my belle o!
At that point, I decided that even though nothing in my background had prepared me for the life I want to live, I would create my experiences afresh. I would become the person I desire by putting my mouth to work. I would say it until I fully become it. After all, the other words I had been speaking were coming to pass faster than I had dreamt.
Dear friend, you are god. Yes, you are god. You create your experiences, either by giving in to what society, family or friends have said, or by the words you have said. What are you saying?
Who says you can’t have a fantastic marriage even though all your predecessors were/are divorcées? Who says you can’t be wealthy even though you come from a wretched family? Who says you can’t excel even though you had no formal education?
Say with me: I am a god. I am bold. I create new experiences. I am fearless. I am lovable. I am kind. I am cherished. I am faithful. I am capable of achieving my dreams. I am great. I am wealthy. I am powerful. I am the head. I am loved. I am respected. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. I am peaceful. I am…
