.After several years of fighting this strange ailment, he decided to focus on the areas he loved. Like his enchanting, clear eyes and his charming smile.

As if he had just dropped from the skies, ladies began thronging around him. They couldn’t seem to get enough of him despite the blackheads which remained huge and unshakable. Not even their resolute presence on his face could stop him from getting a job as front desk officer in a reputable firm. People felt good in his presence and enjoyed being charmed by his smiles and witty jokes.

Bolanle had tried for over a decade to lose weight. Without success. Everyone gave suggestions. Even flies stopped buzzing around long enough to whisper one remedy or the other for her “obesity”.
Like a dry twig underfoot, she snapped one day and decided to enjoy her life- fat or not! “Life is too short to spend in misery,” she reasoned. “I will invest more in my passions than in this sorry weight loss,” she determined.
Thus began her foray into media and broadcasting. At first, she worked behind the scenes until opportunity knocked and she bravely mounted the stage to read the evening news. Years of practise worked its magic and she never returned backstage.
Maybe it was the excitement of being a show anchor and a blooming newscaster or the intense preparations she made towards each show. For whatever reason, the kilograms started dropping off, her steps felt lighter and her smiled looked brighter.
Her face now glows like a newborn’s and even though she is still on the ‘big’ side, she no longer goes to bed feeling unwanted, unlovable and unattractive.
