It was a gathering like no other. Beautiful and talented Africans in the United States and beyond converged in the state of Maryland for two days of glamour and sophistication.
Extremely gorgeous and handsome African models walked, slowly but elegantly, to display clothes in fashion shows on a beautiful runway.

Others watched, danced, sang, jumped and laughed or reconnected with a continent thousands of miles away.

African artiste Lorraine Klaasen of South Africa set the stage on fire with her voice, dance steps and talents.

She inspired the audience so much that it quickly turned into a big hall party with everyone dancing and displaying their African gifts and talents.

The 15th Annual African Cultural Festival – FestAfrica 2017– which held on Saturday August 12 and Sunday August 13 at Silver Spring in the state of Maryland, was beautiful, colorful and full of glitz.

It can best be described as the most colorful festival in the world. It displayed color, fashion and talents by Africans.

African artists and artistes were given the platform to show what they offer. Inaivu was one of them.

DJs and MCs such as Nunu Wako or Chardelle Moore, King Koffi, Anna Mwalagho and Lesley Osuala and Claude di Martian were on top of their game and added color to the already colorful gathering.
Seeing household names such as The Royal Adventures of Princess Halima, Ye N’Eka Dance and Fofo (Nigeria) would certinly be memorable. Justus – Twins Fashion – Nigeria, Jess – Ankara Streets – Usa, Sandy Chic Couture – Burkina Faso, Sifa Designs – Sierra Leone, AIRF Africa Club Dancers & Tribal Dancers and Jollof Boys as well as Amaka & OreOfe brought more color to the event.
