The Senior Advocate of Nigeria Paul Usoro, SAN, who was earlier
today accused by Prof Chidi Odinkalu of bribing James Agbadu-Fishim
, a judge of National Industrial Court with the sum of N800,000
which was paid in three installments has provided letters he wrote
to the EFCC, DSS and the Nigerian Bar Association to clear his name
from being dragged to the mud.
In the letter to the EFCC, he stated the reason why he gave the
said amount to the judge. He further explained the relationship he
had with the Justice, James Agbadu-Fishim before he joined the
Bench.
While speaking with Paul Usoro SAN, he informed TheNigerialawyer
that he had never appeared before Justice James Agbadu-Fishim and
that he had known him for years before he became a judge and that
the allegation against him by Prof. Chidi is ridiculous, and
baseless.
